The Bhoys are at home for the first match of a two-leg playoff, where Martin O’Neill will take the reins for a first European match for Celtic in over 20 years. New signings, including goalscoring strikers have shown a return in the league and have 10 Champions League goals from last season between them, but midfield looks lighter after the departure of Arne Engels and the suspension of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The recruitment of Haissem Hassan and Mika Baur bolsters the squad, but both showed they need more minutes, although a gamble may be made on the latter, although former buddy Miguel Freckleton is making noises about how to beat Celtic having played in the League Cup Final thrown away under previous stewardship. LASK are Austrian Champions, and are not being taken lightly.
We’ll be watching in the Rover.

Dear Members,
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank every individual supporter and Celtic Supporters’ Club that has joined the European Association of Celtic Supporters.
Since establishing the Association, the response has been extremely encouraging. We now have 17 member CSC’s as well as 17 individual members across Europe, and I’m very grateful to everyone who has supported what we are trying to build.

I’m also pleased to announce that folowing a discussion between the 10 Commitee Members, the European Association of Celtic Supporters has now joined the Celtic Fans Collective.
While it is true that there have been some mixed views within the Celtic support regarding the Fans Collective, we believe that becoming part of the Fans Collective gives us the opportunity to ensure that the views and interests of Celtic supporters living across Europe are represented within the wider Celtic support.
When we set up the Euroepean Association it was with the view that collective representation for CSC's and indivdual supporters across Europe could only be a god thing, it therfore follows that the joining of dispersed and varied groups of Celtic Supporters, Suporters Clubs, Fan Media and other fan representative bodies into a common voice to speak to the club is also a good thing.
Joining the Collective will also raise the profile of the European Association with the wider support including across Europe.
I’m equally pleased to let you know that I peronaly will be joining the Steering Committee of the Celtic Fans Collective, where I will represent European Celtic Supporters’ Clubs and individual supporters across Europe.
I see this as an important opportunity not only to represent our Association, but to make sure that the particular experiences and challenges faced by supporters following Celtic from across Europe have a voice in the wider supporter movement.
The European Association is still developing, and there is plenty more we want to achieve. The support of our members and member clubs is what gives us the opportunity to grow and, importantly, to build a stronger voice for Celtic supporters throughout Europe.
Once again, thank you for being part of the European Association of Celtic Supporters and for your continued support.
